Extension in bail: Committee sends Nawaz Sharif’s reports to medical board

LAHORE (92 News) – The government committee has sent reports of Nawaz Sharif, who is in London for treatment, to the medical board. The decision was made during a meeting of the government committee held at Civil Secretariat on Friday to decide on the plea for extension in the bail of Nawaz Sharif. The committee has directed the medical board to send its recommendations within three days. Punjab Minister for Law Raja Basharat said that the decision on the extension in the bail of Nawaz Sharif will be made on the recommendations of the medical board. Talking to the media after the meeting, PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar said that two stents of Nawaz Sharif are not working. He said that they had informed the committee about the condition of Nawaz Sharif. “Kidneys have also been affected by the heart procedure. We hope a positive response from the medical board,” he said. He said that the stability of Nawaz Sharif’s heart is mandatory to treat his other diseases. Attaullah Tarar said that Nawaz Sharif would not be able to return to Pakistan till completion of his treatment. “I stand by my stance regarding early return of Shehbaz Sharif even today,” he said.
