Facebook offers ECP to make exclusive trend for upcoming polls

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Facebook managements has contacted the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and offered the ECP to remove fake pages of the political parties. As per details, Facebook will also run an advertisement campaign for voters and other days. Facebook will promote the ‘8300’ service of ECP. The Facebook management has also offered the ECP to to remove fake pages of political parties Responding to the offer by Facebook, the ECP said that it does not have any official page on Facebook. In this regard, the ECP will call a meeting and will discuss the advertisement campaign on Facebook for general elections 2018. The ECP officials will respond to Facebook after discussing and reviewing the matter. The ECP IT wing sent all recommendations of the Facebook to the chief election commissioner (CEC). The ECP will reply to the Facebook management after final approval from the CEC.
