Faisal Raza Abidi to remain in judicial remand till Nov 19

KARACHI (92 News) – Former senator Faisal Raza Abidi has been sent to jail on a judicial remand till November 19 on charges of keeping illegal weapons. The Sachal police presented the former senator before the court of Malir judicial magistrate. The investigation officer told the court that five different types of weapons were recovered from the house of Abidi during search operation. The recovered weapons license has not been verified yet. His weapons license has been sent to federal and provincial Interior Ministry for verification while other investigations are underway, he said. The court while ordering to send Abidi on judicial remand also demanded the report of license verification and recovered illegal weapons.
