Faisal Vawda threatens imposition of governor’s rule in Sindh
KARACHI (92 News) – Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda has threatened the imposition of the governor’s rule in Sindh. Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the PPP men had sold out millions of bags of wheat. “They have not even spared the ration funds. Extortion is being received from industrialists in the name of SOPs,” he said. He said that the federal government will take over the province after imposing the governor’s rule if the PPP cannot run it. “The federal government will not let anyone make Sindh Mohenjo Daro,” he added. Reacting to Faisal Vawda’s threat, Sindh Information Minister Nasir Shah said that the Sindh government can arrest the people hurling threats, but it would not do so in the national interest. “The cat is out of the bag with the statement of the governor’s rule,” he said. The minister held the Centre responsible for the spread of coronavirus. “The federal government made spots for the spread of coronavirus.” He said that the opponents are saying unrealistic words. “The complete lockdown cannot be implemented due to incompetence of the federal government,” he added.
