Faisalabad tops list of most polluted cities in world, Lahore ranks second

LAHORE (92 News) – Faisalabad has topped the list of most polluted cities in the world with 429 air quality index while Lahore has been ranked second with 410 air quality index.

According to Environment Department, Kot Lakpath is the most affected area in Lahore with 728 air quality. In the area of Town Hall, 230 air quality index has been recorded while 371 air quality index has been recorded in the surroundings of National Hockey stadium and 189 in Township.

Keeping in view the smog, the provincial government had closed educational institutions in Lahore for three days a week from November 27 to January 15.
