FAISALABAD (92 News) – Traders and industrialists have announced civil disobedience against the government across the district. Addressing a joint press conference on Saturday, the Joint Action Committee office-bearers demanded the resignation of Adviser to PM on Commerce Abdur Razzaq Dawood. They said that they would not go to Islamabad for talks at any costs. They announced to hold a big public meeting at Ghanta Ghar Chowk on February 25. Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Rao Sikandar Azam said that they would continue the protest till fulfilment of their demands. They said that they would lockdown they entire city. “It is not justice that we pay the tax and are yet termed thieves.” On the other hand, the Grain Market secretary announced to shut the markets across the province for not stopping the raids in the name of controlling profiteering.
