Faizabad sit-in commission: Faiz Hameed denies allegations of 'conspiracy' against govt
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former DG ISI Faiz Hameed on Thursday denied the allegations of a hatching a 'conspiracy' against the government.
Recording his statement before the Faizabad sit-in commission, he stated that he had held talks with the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan under instructions from the government.
He also responded to the queries asked by the commission.
Earlier, the commission had summoned Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed thrice, but he did not turn up to record his statement. In November last year, the federal government had formed an inquiry commission to implement the SC judgment on the Faizabad sit-in.
The commission will submit its report to the SC on January 22.
