Fake cases being constituted to wipe out opposition: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that fake and baseless cases are being constituted to wipe out the opposition. Talking to the media after appearing in court on Saturday, he said that the court should summon Shehryar Afridi and the ANF DG to inquire about the arrested people and the video. He said that the government was involved in the propaganda and hampering the trial. “The previous judge was changed on WhatsApp. This judge is not being provided the steno and vehicle,” he said. Rana Sanaullah said that Shehryar Afirdi continued to tell the people an accused was arrested from Faisalabad and further arrests were made on his pointation. “The government should figure out that who is responsible for this conspiracy,” he said. He said that it had become impossible to make both ends meet due to price-hike. “A joint session of the opposition is being convened and a strategy to stage vigorous protest over public issues will be devised,” he said. About Nawaz Sharif’s presence in a restaurant, he said that the government is raising such issues to divert the attention from people’s problem. He predicted that the government will get rid of the government this year and the elections will be held before time. The court adjourned the hearing till February 8.
