Fake stent issue: DRAP registers 11 Chinese stents same day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another scandal appeared in the issue of unregistered stents being used for cardiac patients on Wednesday as at least 11 Chinese stents were registered with Otsuka pharma the same day, 92 News learnt. The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) registered 11 Chinese stents of Otsuka Pharma Company in the same day while the prices of stents were not specified to benefit the company. The registered stents which are brought in Rs 2000 are sold in around Rs 2 lac.
