Fake stents issue: Resolute onyx unapproved by FDA

LAHORE (92 News) – In another development made in the issue of unregistered stents being used for cardiac patients at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC), the resolute onyx of Medtronic company were not approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA). 92 News revealed another fraud of PIC administration on Tuesday as the stents being used at the PIC were not registered with the FDA. Expensive registered stents were bought despite the availability of cheap registered stents, it was learned.
