Fake stents worth millions of rupees seized in Lahore, 4 held
LAHORE (92 News) – The Federal Investigation Agency seized unregistered stents worth millions of rupees on Thursday.
On a tip-off, the FIA officials raided Mayo Hospital and arrested four people involved in this illegal business.
The record of stents has been taken into custody.
Sources said that professors and doctors of public hospitals were also involved in the sale of unregistered stents.
Stents are used to open narrowed arteries. Further investigations are underway.
