Fakhar, Hafeez guide Lahore Qalandars to nine-wicket win over Quetta Gladiators

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore Qalandars scored a nine-wicket win over Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League match at National Stadium, Karachi on Monday.

Lahore Qalandars achieved the target for the loss of one wicket in 18.2 overs.

Fakhar Zaman smashed 82 runs with help of eight fours and two sixes. Muhammad Hafeez hit 73 runs aided by five fours and six 6s.

Sohail Akhtar (21) was another contributor to the excellent win. Zahid Mahmood got one wicket.

Being invited to bat after losing the toss, Quetta Gladiators scored 178 runs for the loss of six wickets. Chris Gayle (68), Sarfraz Ahmed (40) and Muhammad Nawaz (33) were the main contributors. Haris Rauf grabbed three wicket, while Shaheen Afridi, Ahmed Daniyal and Rashid Khan got one wicket each.

Fakhar Zaman was declared Man of the Match.
