Famed female elephant ‘Suzi’ dies in Lahore Zoo

LAHORE (92 News) – Suzi, the renowned female elephant who entertained hundreds of thousands children, died in Lahore Zoo on Saturday.

She has been unwell for a week.

Suzi was almost six years old when she was brought to Lahore Zoo in 1980s.

The Secretary Wildlife has suspended Director Zoo Shafqat Ali on the charge of negligence.

He has set up an inquiry committee to look into the matter.
