Farhatullah Babar denies Nawaz-Zardari backdoor links

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP leader Farhatullah Babar has said that there are neither backdoor links between former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari nor talks are going on for a meeting between them. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the return of Nawaz Sharif does not herald a political upheaval. He advised Nawaz Sharif to take the cases normally. The PPP leader said that talks could be held for the supremacy of the constitution in the parliament. “Mian Sahib has both – counsel and argument. He should be given an opportunity of a fair trial,” he said. Farhatullah Babar said that the Nawaz Sharif’s case will be decided within six months. “The PPP deserters will soon repent and rejoin the party soon,” he added.
