Farmers end sit-in against GST in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Farmers staged a sit-in against GST in Lahore on Wednesday. A large number of farmers participated in the sit-in. However, they ended their sit-in on the assurance of Punjab Agriculture Minister Farrukh Javed. Speaking on the occasion, Farrukh Javed said that the agriculture income tax will not be imposed on the farmers having less than 12.5 acres. He said that other taxes on the agriculture sector would be abolished soon.
