Farmers protest ‘unjustified’ distribution of gunny bags in Punjab cities

JHANG (92 News) – Farmers staged demonstrations against what they called unjustified distribution of gunny bags in different cities of Punjab on Saturday.

The protest was staged in Jhang, Kabirwala and Kalurkot.

The police baton charged and arrested several protesting farmers in Jhang. Several protesters were injured due to torture.

In Kalurkot, farmers besieged the AC office and chanted slogans against the officers.
