Farmers vow to continue sit-in outside Punjab Assembly till acceptance of demands
LAHORE (92 News) – Farmers continued their sit-in outside the Punjab Assembly till acceptance of their demands.
They spent the night on the Mall Road and resumed their protest in the morning.
Hundreds of protesters continued to sit before the Punjab Assembly. They said that they would not leave the place without acceptance of their demands.
We sent the MPAs to the assembly after giving them votes, but they have forgotten us,” they said.
Meanwhile, the talks between protesters and the administration failed.
Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rasheed and former governor Ch Sarwar also joined the protesters to express solidarity .
On the other hand, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has asked Law Minister Rana Sanaullah to hold talks with the protesting farmers.
