Farooq advises Nawaz to surrender on his return to Pakistan

KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday advised former prime minister Nawaz Sharif Nawaz Sharif to surrender on his return to Pakistan. Talking to the journalists, while responding to the sentence of Sharif family, he said that whatever happened is the result of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) shortcomings.“Being in politics does not mean that you will not be caught,” he said. The MQM-P leader maintained that the Pakistan People's Party and the PML-N did nothing regarding the law of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He further said that no one could become independent from the law of Pakistan even if he came in the rule of power. Farooq Sattar alleged that the efforts were being made to deprive the voters of Karachi from their voting rights. “MQM-P workers are still being harassed and arrested. Why is this happening?," he claimed. He lamented that the population of Karachi was counted less than half during census. He complained that the recently conducted population census in the metropolis and Hyderabad was fraudulent. Sattar said that it is regrettable for the political community that leaders of parties are declared guilty by the court. He also complained with Nawaz Sarif that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)was not fulfilled its commitments in the past five years. Dr Farooq Sattar, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, Amir Khan and other MQM leaders appeared before court in MQM founder's hateful speeches and attack on the media houses case. The court adjourned till August 11 and the indictment is expected in next hearing. MQM leader Khawaja Azharul Haq predicted that the PPP government will not rule in upcoming election. He hoped that the MQM will reap the fruit of its patience, adding that the MQM will win the general election 2018.
