Farooq Sattar declares govt’s decision to replace Ishratul Ebad as undemocratic
KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has on Thursday declared the decision of the federal government of replacing Dr Ishratul Ebad as undemocratic.
Talking to media in Karachi on Thursday, he said that the federation should have consulted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) before replacing Dr Ishratul Ebad.
The MQM leader said that it was Ishratul Ebad who spent 14 years as Sindh Governor and MQM never demanded his removal.
