KARACHI (92 News) – MQM leader Farooq Sattar has held Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah as well as the government responsible for pushing his party to the wall. Addressing a press conference at Nine Zero on Saturday, he said that they had shown a red card to the government, which now would be responsible for the results. He said that an unannounced ban has been imposed on political activities of the MQM. “After sealing the MQM offices and arresting workers, the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation is also being targeted,” he added. He accused the Sindh government and the chief minister of adopting undemocratic attitude towards their party. “We are now being stopped from welfare projects.” Farooq Sattar said that the Pakistan Protection Act is being used against the MQM instead of terrorists. “It is now obvious that the objective of Karachi operation is to isolate and paralyze the MQM,” he maintained.
