KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to protest against the statement of Interior Minister Ch Nisar outside Karachi Press Club on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference on Monday, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said that the MQM and Mohajirs cannot be separated. “Ch Nisar is suffering from Altaf phobia,” he said. “Altaf has said that we want Pakistan. We are with the Pakistan Army. Our demand is that cruelty against us should be stopped,” he said. Farooq Sattar said that such allegations are being levelled to pit the MQM against the Army. He said that they condemned the indecent remarks uttered by Kh Asif. “We reject the statements of Ch Nisar and Kh Asif.” He said that the target operation, which should have been used against criminals, is being used against the MQM. He was of the view that the MQM is being pushed to the wall. The MQM leader said that hideouts of criminals are still intact in Karachi and even a child could tell their names. “All political parties have militant wings, not only the MQM. Why is only the MQM being raided? he questioned.
