KARACHI (92 News) – MQM Pakistan chairman Farooq Sattar has said that Mustafa Kamal had renounced the Mohajirs. Addressing the workers at Mukka Chowk on Saturday, he said that the vote bank of the MQM is still intact. “It is our internal matter whether the party is in our control or not. We have succeeded in establishing a clean MQM,” he maintained. Farooq Sattar said that he would restore the dignity of Mohajirs. “We have not been allowed to march towards the Yadgar-e-Shuhda, saying that there is a threat to our lives. Why is the threat to our lives alone?” Later, Farooq Sattar and the Rabita Committee members went to Yadgar-e-Shuhda in Azizabad. Parents of Imran Farooq, Amir Khan, Kamran Tessori and Aminul Haq were also present. Workers belonging to the MQM’s another group also chanted slogans on the arrival of the MQM Pakistan leaders. A heavy contingent of the police and Rangers were deployed in fear of the clash between both groups. In addition, all roads had been sealed in the area.
