Farooq Sattar submits nomination papers from three constituencies

KARACHI (92 News) – Mutahidda Quami Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday submitted nomination papers from three constituencies. Speaking to the journalists after submitting his nomination papers from NA-241 (Korangi), he announced that he will contest in upcoming election from NA-241, NA-245 and NA-247. He lamented that the MQM leaders is not being given justice. The MQM leader also demanded that the party offices be re-opened and the raiding on the houses of MQM leaders should be stopped. Criticizing the Sindh caretaker chief minister, Farooq alleged that most cabinet members are Pakistan People's Party (PPP) supporters. “The use of development funds and injustice in delimitation of constituencies is pre-electoral rigging,” he further alleged. Earlier on Sunday, Dr Farooq Sattarsaid that they have nothing to do with the MQM-London boycotting the general elections. However, he added, given their own circumstances, they are yet to decide if they will participate in the polls.
