KARACHI (92 News) – MQM leader Farooq Sattar has said that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has adopted the same tone which once Zulfiqar Mirza had.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said, “This impression is being given that you (Mohajirs) will always be considered less in the census. The CM said that you do not have any right to make decisions. They will make the decisions of our destiny because we are in a minority.”

The MQM leader said that Karachi Building Control Authority was abolished and the Sindh Building Authority created in its place. "The master plan has also been given to the Ministry of Local Government. The KDA and the MDA was already with the Sindh government," he maintianed.

He said that he had no clash with the Sindh chief minister and he was against the steps of the latter. "The CM is against reforms. The Sindh government has taken schools and colleges from the local government," he added.

The MQM leader said, “We are not beggers, give our rights to us. The government should take the matter seriously and give the people their rights. The work on K-IV water project has been going on for the last 13 years."

He said that the inflation and unemplyment is the worst failure of the PTI government. "The PPP government has given the people of Karachi nothing except deception," he added.
