KARACHI (92 News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan) leader Farooq Sattar has on Sunday threatened to resign from National and Provincial Assemblies and Senate if the party leaders were pressurized to sway loyalties. Addressing a press conference in Karachi on Sunday, he said that the party leaders including MPAs, MNAs, senators and town and UC committee leaders are being pressurized to switch party. He demanded Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar javed Bajwa to take notice of the matter. Sattar also asked his party leaders and members that the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) is being benefited with the swaying loyalties of the party leaders. “It’s been a year since we parted ways with the MQM-London, but still our party’s legislators are being forced to switch loyalties,” the MQM chief said.
