Faryal Talpur corruption case: PPP didn’t even spare Larkana, says SH CJ

KARACHI (92 News) – Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Sajjad Ali Shah has on Thursday asked how much money the provincial government has spent on Larkana. Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Sajjad Ali Shah takes up the Rs 90 billion corruption case against Faryal Talpur, sister of former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Zardari. During the proceedings, Sajjad Ali Shah remarked that it is necessary to provide funds details. He asked how many development projects have been completed in the city? The petitioner accused the PPP government of corruption in the money allocated for development plans but the Additional Advocate General denied the allegations. The SHC CJP remarked that the PPP didn’t even spare Larkana which is its own city, adding that the Sindh government will have to tell how much money they spent in Larkana.
