Faryal Talpur's name removed from ECL under one-time permission

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Interior Ministry has removed the name of Faryal Talpur, sister of former president Asif Ali Zardari, from the exit control list (ECL) under the one-time permission.

Earlier, Faryal Talpur had filed a plea to remove her name as she wanted to go to the UK for treatment.

She has been granted permission under the existing law of one-time permission.

The name of the PPP leader was included in the ECL on the request of NAB in the fake accounts case. During the investigations, the NAB had requested to include the name of Faryal Talpur in the ECL till completion of the investigations.

A notice has been sent to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding removing the name of Faryal Talpur from the ECL.
