FATF signals to remove Pakistan from grey list after fulfillment all terms

BERLIN (92 News) - The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Friday signalled to remove Pakistan from the grey list after it fulfilled all conditions.

In a declaration after the FATF meeting, it has been stated that Pakistan has completed its two action plans successfully.

The FATF said that Pakistan had fully taken steps to stop terror financing. "Moreover, it showed excellent performance in stopping money laundering. The fulfillment of conditions will be confirmed after visiting Pakistan soon," it added.

It said that the final decision to remove Pakistan from grey list will be made after the visit of the FATF technical evaluation team in October.
