Fatemi calls on US security advisor in Washington

WASHINGTON (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi held a meeting with US National Security Advisor Susan Rice in Washington on Saturday. He apprised her that Indian forces have been continuously violating ceasefire at the Line of Control and Working Boundary. Fatemi told her that innocent people are being killed due to unprovoked Indian firing. He also highlighted massive human rights violations by the Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir. Rice expressed concern over tense situation at the LoC and acknowledged Pakistan's efforts for peace and stability in the region. Rice said THAT US wants dialogue between Pakistan and India to normalize the situation.
