RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the opposition has been exposed in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) bill. Speaking to the journalists, the minister said that the opposition wants the government to abolish the Nation Accountability Bureau (NAB) so that plunderers could easily save from accountability process. “NAB is an independent institution and plunderers belonging to former ruling parties PPP and PML-N won’t be escaped from punishment,” he added. He mentioned that the yesterday's meeting between JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif completely failed. "Fazlur Rehman expressed lack of confidence at the PML-N in meeting," he added. “I support the cabinet’s decision of repatriation of former premier Nawaz Sharif but I do not think he will return as there is no such contract between Pakistan and England," Sheikh Rasheed said. "The cases of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz are in serious nature so both can go to jail," he added. Addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi, the minister says tender for Main Line One railway project will be issued by the end of this month. He said railway tracks are going to be updated in the country after one hundred and fifty years. Sheikh Rasheed said the previous governments did not take any steps to improve railways. He said education has been a priority of the PTI government. He said the government plans to establish another university in Rawalpindi.
