LONDON (92 news) – Hussain Nawaz – son of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif – on Tuesday said that his father’s health is critical and no improvement thus far. Speaking to the journalists, Hussain Nawaz said that his father’s health has not improved since his arrival in London on November 19. “Nawaz Sharif’s health is as it was prior, no signs of betterment or recovery have been visible thus far, Dr Adnan has stated facts about my father’s condition,” said Hussain Nawaz. Upon further inquiries about Nawaz Sharif’s health, Hussain said that he was not a doctor and the questions would be answered in a better way by the former prime minister’s personal physician. He also owed to the fact the he knew nothing about an alleged dip in Nawaz Sharif’s white blood cells. Earlier, a British doctor has declared the disease of Nawaz Sharif, who is on a four-week bail, a complex one. Talking to 92 News on Sunday, Dr Nayyar Zaman said that the PML-N Quaid could be taken to Boston, United States for treatment. “Nawaz Sharif can be treated in London, but I think Boston will be appropriate,” he said. On November 28, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had undergone a positron emission tomography (PET) scan at Bridge Hospital. The preparation for the scan took over four hours. Nawaz Sharif was placed in the scanner for a half hour. The scan report is expected after one and a half weeks. PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif is already present in the hospital. On November 25, Nawaz Sharif underwent a medical check-up at Bridge Hospital. Surgeon Simon Redwood, a professor of interventional cardiology and honorary consultant cardiologist at Guy’s Hospital, advised Nawaz Sharif to undergo angioplasty.
