Fawad Ch terms judicial reforms act as interference in SC powers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has termed that judicial reforms act as interference in the powers of the Supreme Court.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that there was no space in the constitution that the federal government should decide the rules of the judiciary. "It is job of the Supreme Court to decide its rules. All of us know that the law has been brought against the chief justice," he maintained.

The PTI leader said that there will be supremacy in the parliament when 228 MNAs and 57 senators will vote in favour of the act. "The constitution will be considered supreme until it," he added.

He said that those insulting the judges should keep themselves ready for the consequences. "The government has destroyed the economy. The Chinese foreign minister has given the message of political stability which is only possible through the elections," he maintained.
