Fawad Chaudhary confirms Imran Khan's injury in firing

WAZIRABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has confirmed that party chairman Imran Khan was injured in the firing.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that Imran Khan was injured, but he was safe. "Today's long march has been ended."

He said that he could say nothing about the condition of Imran Khan. "He has been shot and is bleeding profusely. It is a murderous attack and the shooter has missed the target. The bullet hit the lower leg," he added.

Later in a tweet, Fawad Chaudhary said that it was a well-planned assassination attempt on Imran Khan. "This assassin planned to kill Imran Khan and leadership of PTI. It was not 9MM. It was a burst from an automatic weapon. No two opinions about that it was narrow escape," he addded. 

Meanwhile, PTI leader Asad Umar said that the responsible would be taken to task if anything happened to Imran Khan.
