Fawad Chaudhary says India led social media trends against Pakistan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary has said that India led the social media trends against Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference along with Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf on Wednesday, he said that the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) starts these anti-Pakistan trends with the help of India and Afghanistan also supports them.
He said the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) participated in the trends about Zulfi Bukhari.
Fawad Chaudhary said that a campaign was launched with regard to the Noor Mukadam case on the social media, terming Pakistan an unsafe country for women. "Pakistan faces a big media war. Fake news are being used against Pakistan," he maintained.
Moeed Yusuf said that Indian accounts are being used to malign Pakistan. "An anti-Pakistan narrative is emerging from Afghanistan after the US pullout. Efforts are being made to conceal failures in Afghanistan," he added.
