Fawad Chaudhary says 'Qabza' mafia exposed in Punjab
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Qabza mafia has been exposed in Punjab.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that the Transparency International report shows how much the Qabza mafia is strong. "The PML-N continued to patronize the Qabza mafia," he added.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the PML-N leadership tried to distort the facts by standing with the squatters yesterday.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said that lands have been retrieved from the influential people. "Saif Khokhar had constructed a palace on 35-kanal of state land," he added.
He said that land had also been retrieved from Khawaja Asif and Nayyer Bukhari. "Land worth Rs 200 billion has been retrieved from the squatters. Now the state possesses the retrieved land," he added.
