Fawad Chaudhary to visit Karachi on Jan 15 for political negotiations

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary will visit Karachi on January 15 and 16 for political negotiations. As per reports, the minister will hold consultative meetings with influential politicians concerning the current political uncertainty in Pakistan over rifts amongst several political parties. It was also reported that Prime Minister Imran Khan will also visit Sindh for one-day official visit on January 25. After finalizing the schedule of the prime minister, Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) leaders called a meeting in Ghotki. However, GDA MPA Ali Gohar Khan Mahar has invited PM Imran Khan for a visit. Earlier, the PTI had decided to increase political pressure on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for his resignation after his name was added to the exit control list (ECL). Fawad Chaudhry is expected to head for meetings with leaders of the GDA and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Karachi and other areas.
PM Imran Khan, Fawad Ch discuss Sindh tour
Earlier on December 31, PM Khan called on Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry. They discussed the coming tour to Sindh. Fawad Ch briefed the prime minister about the links with the government allies in Sindh.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are brotherly countries

Fawad Chaudhry says Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are brotherly countries with their ties based on mutual respect, cooperation and trust. The minister said this while speaking over telephone with his Saudi counterpart, Turki Abdullah Al-Shabanah. The minister felicitated him on assuming the new responsibilities and said in the days to come new vistas of cooperation would be opened up between the two countries in various fields, including media.. Chaudhry Fawad discussed with him the existing close ties between the two countries. He said the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to Pakistan would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
