Fawad Chaudhry speaks out against his government

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry spoke out against his own government, saying that the people's expectations were high but the government made shortcomings. In an interview with American TV channel, the minister claimed that internal rifts of PTI had harmed both the party and the government. “The prime minister has given five and a half months to the ministers to perform." Fawad Chaudhry said that Jahangir Tareen was behind sacking of Asad Umar as the finance minister. He also claimed that the differences between Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jahangir Tareen weakened the party and their failure to settle their issues resulted in bureaucracy taking important roles. The minister further said the people have high expectations from Imran Khan and PTI. “They did not elect Imran Khan for ordinary tasks but he has been chosen to reform the entire system,” he added.
