Fawad Chaudhry expresses sorrow over the death of nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has expressed sorrow over the death of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.

He said in a tweet that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan's death was a loss for the nation. “He was a pioneer of Pakistan’s nuclear program and contributed immensely to our security. May his soul RIP.”

On the other hand, Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and others cabinet members and parliamentarians have also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed grief over the sad demise of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

In their separate messages today, they paid rich tribute to the departed soul and acknowledged contributions of the great atomic scientist in making Pakistan's defence impregnable.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan played a pivotal role in making Pakistan’s defence impregnable.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that May Allah provide patience to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan's relatives and those who are mourning his passing.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar prayed for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan's soul after hearing about his demise. He said in a tweet that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan played a key role in making Pakistan invincible.
