ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry Sunday said that opposition’s movement will give rise to sectarian tensions in the country.

In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that primary challenge state faces by opposition’s anti-government movement is use of religious card by the protestors. He said that processions of students of religious schools armed with sticks is an attempt to ignite religious sentiments.

The federal minister said that any sensible analyst will consider the movement chaotic and violent.

"We are not afraid from the rallies and protest of the PDM, they should held these procession with their full enthusiasm," said Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi. "Opposition should not be an obstacle in the way of economic recovery, people have to see whether there is mental harmony and ideological affiliation in this group," he added.

FM Qureshi also said that the gang wanted to divert attention from the accountability process. "Democracy has not fear now and will not in future. I urge the opposition to reconsider its decisions if the people are in pain," he maintained.
