Fazalur Rehman asks SC to pronounce immediate verdict on violation of constitution

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman has appealed to the Supreme Court to pronounce the verdict on the violation of the constitution immediately.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the matter should not be prolonged for days. "The loyalty of 197 members will be doubtful of the ruling of the deputy commissioner is not declared illegal. The Parliament can impeach the President for this illegal act," he declared.

The PDM chairman said that PM Imran Khan cannot become a hero through a letter. "We should go toward the election after the electoral reforms," he added.

He said that Imran Khan had run away from humiliation. "The country has been pushed towards a political crisis. We have been informing the people that this person is not capable of becoming the prime minister," he maintained.

Fazalur Rehman said that Imran Khan's act to dissolve the assembly is illegal. "The rulers have exposed themselves by defacing democracy in the country," he added.
