Fazalur Rehman proposes to close highways, launch 'Jail Bharo Movement' in wake of arrests

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has proposed to close highways and launch the Jail Bharo Movement in the wake of arrests.

The proposal was presented in a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) held to decide the future of course. He said that the present government was unacceptable. "We will send the government home at all cost," he declared.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Aftab Sher Pao and other leaders participated in the meeting. The meeting discussed the public meeting in Lahore on December 13, long march and resignations from assemblies.

On the other hand, PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has proposed to submit the resignations to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman. Sources said that Nawaz Sharif had proposed that Maulana Fazalur Rehman would submit the resignations to National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar at the end of the long march.
