Fazalur Rehman seeks Chaudhary brothers' support for no-confidence motion

LAHORE (92 News) – PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman called on PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Fazalur Rehman inquired after the health of the PML-Q president and discussed the no-confidence motion with him. He requested the Chaudhary brothers to support the opposition in the anti-government strategy.

According to sources, the Chaudhary brothers have sought two more days to finally decide about the issue.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazalur Rehman expressed his resolve to take the anti-government movement to the logical end.

He said that they were in contact with 11 MNAs and will consult them as well. He assured to implement the promises made with the opposition.

MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Salik Hussain, Hussain Elahi, Shafaay Hussain and Maulana Asadur Rehman were also present.
