KARACHI (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman called on former president Asif Zardari at Bilawal House on Friday. They discussed the political situation in the country. Both agreed to adopt a joint stance on the 18th Amendment and NFC Award. The former president said: “I had already stated that Imran Khan is not competent enough to run the government.” He said that he had warned the parliament about the locust attack last year. Asif Zardari said that the government did not take the locust attack serious due to its ego. “The people are looking towards the opposition for getting rid of the selected government,” he added. PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that corruption had increased manifold during the present tenure. “Pakistan and Imran Khan cannot run side by side. Imran Khan using the NAB to take revenge from the opposition,” he said. Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that they would have to face the selected rulers if they wanted to save the economy. “The PTI government has pushed the economy to the wall,” he added.
