ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Maulana Fazlur Rahman, chief of his faction of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), has asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to apologize to the nation and withdraw from politics. Talking about the Judicial Commission report on Thursday, he said that Imran Khan’s political immaturity has proved. He called for investigations into reasons of the sit-in. “It should be known that who was the mastermind of the London Plan and Imran Khan was following whose agenda,” he demanded. He said that Pakistan was ridiculed at the international level due to the sit-in. “The parliament and important installations were targeted,” he said. “The credibility of a national and respectful institution was damaged in an attempt to implicate the army in political affairs.” The JUI-F chief was of the view that such stunts will fail in future in the presence of the independent media and active democracy. He asked the PTI workers to hold their leadership accountable for the reason why they wasted nation’s time and did not present their proofs before the Inquiry Commission. He said that Imran Khan should also apologize to the families of his martyred workers besides compensating them.
