Fazlur Rehman hints at continuing Azadi March at least for four days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has hinted at continuing Azadi March at least for four days. Addressing the participants of the Azadi March on Wednesday, he said that Azadi March would be turned into Seeratun Nabi (PBUH) Conference. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that one-sided accountability would not work out. “We have come to save the country. Pakistan will bankrupt if the rulers prepared the next budget,” he maintained. He said that they want such democratic system which should reflect the constitution of Pakistan. “We are fighting a war for the right of the nation which is not ready to withdraw its demand. The provinces are demanding their rights and want possession of their resources,” he said. The JUI-F chief said that no one has a right to deprive the people of their right. “Our journey will continue with resilience.” He said that the Hajj cost had been increased to Rs 500,000 while travelling for the Sikh is free. “We have much tolerated the loss of this country. The country cannot afford more loss. Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s birth anniversary will fall on November 9 and our rulers are opening the Kartarpur border,” he said. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he was unable to mention the scenes of the 2014 sit-in. “Millions of people have been rendered jobless. The rulers had claimed of constructing five million houses, but lacs of houses have been demolished in the name of encroachments,” he said. PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal and PPP's Nayyar Bukhari also addressed Azadi March.
