FBR bans 212 items of Afghan Transit Trade to curb smuggling

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday banned 212 items of the Afghan Transit Trade to curb smuggling.

A notification has been issued in this regard.

The banned items include 17 varieties of cloth, tyres, tea, cosmetics, refrigerator, air-conditioners, juicer and mixer blender.

Moreover, a ban has been imposed on taking dry fruit, including almond and fresh fruit, through the Afghan Transit Trade.
