FBR claims 14% growth in tax collection during first half of current fiscal year
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Federal Board of Revenue in its Biannual Review published on Monday claimed 14% growth in tax collection during first half of current fiscal year.
FBR said it has collected Rs. 1,172 billion provisional figures during first half of current fiscal year yielding 14% growth over the collection of Rs. 1,031 billion collected during H1: Previous Fiscal Year.
As a whole, Rs. 140 billion higher tax revenue has been collected during July-December 2014-15 as compared to July-December 2013-14.
The FBR Biannual Review July-December, 2014-15 has been prepared by the Research Team of Strategic Planning and Reform & Statistics Wing, FBR.
