FBR provides Shehbaz Sharif’s assets, tax details to NAB

LAHORE (92 News) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) provided the assets and tax details of former Punjab chief minister Sehbaz Sharif to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). According to the NAB sources, the NAB sought assets details regarding 1997 to 2018 of Shehbaz Sharif from the FBR. The sources said that the FBR provided all the information which was asked by the NAB. In an interview with 92 News, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz Chohan said that the further cases are being opened against the opposition leader of National Assembly due to his incompetency and abnormal behavior. Meanwhile, the NAB initiated a probe against Shehbaz Sharif for holding assets beyond means of income. An investigation team of the anti-graft body has questioned the former Punjab chief minister about his assets. Earlier, the NAB granted 10-day physical remand of Shehbaz Sharif in Ashiana Housing case Shehbaz was arrested on October 5 in the Ashiana Iqbal housing scheme case, when he appeared before NAB to record his statement in the Punjab Saaf Pani Company case.
