FC major martyred in Peshawar suicide blast

PESHAWAR (92 News) – FC Major Jamal Sheran Jam was martyred and six people, including four security officials, were injured in a suicide blast near Bagh-e-Naran, Hayatabad on Monday.

The suicide bomber was a biker. Glasses of nearby houses broke and several vehicles were damaged.

The Peshawar SSP Operations said that 10-12kg explosives were used in the blast.

The injured have been shifted to CMH and Hayatabad Medical Complex.

Meanwhile, the funeral for the martyred Maj Jamal Sheran was held at Peshawar Garrison.

The KP Governor and Peshawar Corps Commander also attended the funeral.

Later, he was buried in his ancestral area with full military honours.
