Federal Cabinet approves Budget FY2024-25

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Cabinet approved the budget for the Fiscal Year 2024-25.

According to sources, the cabinet approved 25 percent increase in the salaries of the government employees from BPS-1 to 16, while employees from BPS-17 to 22 will granted 22 percent pay raise.

Moreover, the cabinet approved an increase of 15 percent in the pension of the retired government employees. It also approved a package for farmers, youth and industries.

The announcement of all the schemes in the next financial year included in the budget speech of the Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

Meanwhile, the prime minister banned to make public any document and content of the speech before the budget speech. He also ordered action against those violating the ban.
